5 Interesting Firefox Tabs add-ons
Among all Firefox add-ons, what I like most is the category of “Tabs”. Yes, I have used about more than 10 add-ons relevant to Firfox Tabs. Today, I will introduce 5 interesting add-ons about Tabs to you.
Turn tabs of your choice into permanent tabs. PermaTabs can’t be closed accidentally no matter what you click (even actions like “Close other tabs” will not affect them) and will stick around between sessions.
This is an add-on that makes Home button usable by linking it to home (main) page of current site instead of abstract conventional “home” (start) page since latter is useless in most cases.
Reloads web pages every so many seconds or minutes. The function is accessible via the context menu (menu you get when you right click on a web page) or via a drop down menu on the reload button ..
Pin favicon-sized app tabs to the left side of the tab bar! Inspired by a feature by the same name planned for Firefox 4.0. Of course, App Tabs is not compatible with Tab Mix Plus. This is because Tab Mix Plus heavily modifies the tab browsing code of Firefox in such a way that App Tabs cannot implement its features without conflict. This will not likely be resolved. It is in fact very difficult to make these compatible.
Right double-click anywhere on web page to close current tab. This extension enables user to close the current tab by simply right double-clicking anywhere on the viewing web page.

I have not yet encountered these Tabs add-ons. I will check this out. Firefox has been the best browser I have used.
