Rental Shop Changes
It is amazing how renting skis has changed throughout the years. I remember renting skis from a ski shop at the age of eight and being thrown into an assembly line.
At first, it is the line for the paper work; Second, you get passed to the guy who fits your boots. Once you have your boots they pass you to the guy who gives you your skis, he sets your bindings in front of you and sends you to the guy who gives you your poles. The pole guy then has you sign the release of liability. The skis then were straight boards, no edge, no wax. The poles were usually bent to some degree and the boots were rear-entry. It is amazing how we all learned to ski with such equipment.
Nowadays, the equipment is usually top notch and the lines have drastically been diminished with the use of computers doing all the sizing and inventory. On top of all this they now have Breckenridge ski rental delivery services. These delivery shops in Breckenridge not only have great equipment, but you avoid the assembly line set up and the long line of tourists.
