As one of the world’s most famous eighteenth century landscaped gardens, Stourhead appeals to tourists around the world with its flowering shrubs, temples, bridges and more, which add tremendously to the scenery.
Located near Shaftesbury, on the outskirts of the Greater London area, the Stourhead garden was designed by Henry Hoare II between 1741 and 1780. For people who have taken a tour there, most of them are typically pressed for time when they reach Stourhead.
