Nowadays, according to Mozilla Firefox official website, Mozilla developers have launched a new online tool that tells Firefox users whether popular add-on components such as Java or QuickTime are up to date, which is designed to heighten the security of Firefox browser.

As we all know, Google Chrome still has room for improvement because it is still not extendable enough like Firefox.

Google Chrome now official supports the add-ons in the development channel, though there are not many add-ons available right now and Chrome add-ons support is still not a feature of the stable version of Chrome, you can get it in the latest build of the Dev Channel release.
